Partly constructed regulator wall clock to an innovative design by Dr. Richard Stephen making use of modern materials and techniques.

The escape wheel is titanium to combine strength and lightness, working with immensely hard tungsten carbide pallets to prevent wear. The pinions are made of case-hardened mild steel, with high speed steel pallets.

The clock is regulated by a pendulum with a carbon fibre rod, and driven by weights, supported by woven dacron fishing lines.
